NOT ALL MARTYRS SEE DIVINITY,
BUT AT LEAST YOU TRIED.
tyler woke up too early this morning and her head was killing her. she needed to sleep longer, but there was no way she was going to be able to any time soon. especially since the sun had shone so bright into her bedroom window this morning. there was no way she'd be able to sleep through that. so instead, she decided to head on over to starbucks. hopefully no one would bother her there, she was just too hungover from the night before, but then again, there was no telling who would annoy her this morning. probably no one though.
she pulled on some skinny jeans and black slip on vans.. she wore a simple over-sized grayish-white t-shirt that had a front pocket on the left side. the sleeves hung down to where here elbow crease was. the only thing she loved about mornings like that were her hair, the mohawk look was the easiest thing when she was tired and hungover. she ran a comb through the hair in the center of head head, making sure her bangs were just right. she put a red fedora hat on after putting on a bit of mascara and eyeliner, and grabbed her sunglasses and her car keys, hopping into her black volvo and heading on out into the city to the nearest starbucks.
pretty soon, she made it to starbucks and parked her volvo in front of it, next to the curb. she hated having to park like that, but she was in the city right now so she basically had no choice. tyler got out of her car and went on inside the pretty new starbucks. they used to have a dunkin donuts pretty close to her house, but it burnt down some time ago, so they brought in a starbucks to take its place, just in a different location, seeing as one of the employees that worked at dunkin donuts died in the fire, and ever since, people thought the place to be haunted, so no one ever built anything there. they just got rid of the ruins and left the area. sometimes kids would go there to hang out and see if they could see the ghost of the kid that died, and maybe some did, but who knows? a lot of people like to make shit up for attention. tyler had no time for stupid fairytales and urban legends.
tyler ordered herself a banana mocha frappacino and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. she got her drink and bagel pretty quickly and paid for it, deciding that she'd rather stick around in the little cafe instead of drive off somewhere and try to find something interesting to do. she took a seat next to a big window and started to spread the cream cheese over her bagel, feeling her stomach rumble as she looked down at it. she was so hungry, she hadn't even realized it until she saw the food. she started taking bite after bite, and soon felt like a pig, so she slowed down and started acting more civilized. she couldn't let anyone see her stuffing her face with a bagel.
