Hey! I’m James Rune, I’m seventeen years old, and I’m almost a senior in high school! Well I am technically, but the school year hasn’t started yet. I can’t wait for it to, though, because I promised myself that I’d have a way better year than last year. A lot of really bad things happened to me and my closest friend, and I just don’t want anything to repeat itself. I’ll talk more about that later though! I’m that awkward jock that gets shoved over and dragged around everywhere. A lot of the girls (not the popular ones) seem to take a liking in me… but I just like making friends with them. My best friend is a girl, which is probably a good thing – she is Kaylee Deleon, the glee captain. My boyfriend is a college guy (isn’t that hot?) and his name is Jayden Alexander. If you were wondering, we got together last year, and I now live with him permanently for several reasons. Since he’s in college it’s gonna be hard to see him as often as I like to, but it’ll be okay I think. I still get to sleep in his bed with him and cuddle and uh… do stuff…
I’m a really good guy, I think. I hate making people sad, it makes me sad. Bullies are one thing that I really can’t stand, but somehow I always end up looking like a bad guy. I’m too much of a wimp. I can’t to stand up for myself, but I wish I could. I’m really weird. I don’t know how I ended up in the jock route, because I don’t fit the job description. I sing and dance, do impressions of different people, and have a big imagination. I’m a decent human being, make stupid jokes, and am always on a mental high. People say I have really weird beliefs, like that unicorns are the reason of our very existence, but I say that they’re weird for not believing in the truth. The unicorns have a law book that I choose to follow religiously. I don’t believe in god because the unicorns made god. I don’t believe in “fairy tale” creatures, because they’re named wrong! They’re real. I know they are. I don’t care how much people make fun of me… I’m standing by my beliefs, whether they’re “illogical” or “ridiculous” to other people or not. Some of my favorite things to do are singing, dancing, playing guitar, swimming, playing basketball, playing football, and just having a good time.
I drink sometimes, but only when Jayden’s around or Kaylee is. Sometimes when I’m really sad though, I drink and put myself to sleep easier. See, I have a really hard time sleeping well lately because I’ve had really bad night terrors and nightmares. They’re all about… well, my dad. Don’t worry, he’s arrested now! But he used to beat me up, physically, and emotionally. Mostly physically. It was all through middle school to just a couple of weeks ago. See, my boyfriend walked in on it and I’ve been living with him since. But then my teacher found my blog and my dad ended up getting arrested. I still live with Jay, but with my mom’s full consent now that she understands. She was iffy about it at first and a little angry even, but as long as I visit as much as I possibly can she doesn’t care. She pays for a weekly therapist visit for me, in hopes that it’ll help ease my mind. I’m very jumpy, now, and even though I feel safe I can’t help it. I also have a nervous habit of uncontrollably shaking when I’m scared or left to my thoughts alone. I don’t like to stay home too much though, but I do, but I don’t. it’s just hard for me to be there.
hey so, my name is allie and i'm thirteen. i live in the eastern time zone and play peter pierce, declan pierce, benny rune, kris rose, jordan mccoy, and derek angel as well. here's some of my work.
Benny didn’t give much of a thought to anything other than his own problems, when it came to family drama. Looking into James’ facial features right now, beaten to bruises and broken skin, made him want to punch someone. Particularly, he wanted someone to punch him, because he could just remember that once scar-less face telling him about his dad’s abusive ways, and only telling the boy to go away and stop lying to Michael and him. He wondered what possessed him to not even bother trying to believe him, and he also wondered if maybe he could’ve stopped this if he did try to help before it had been too late. Many other questions passed through his mind as he carefully elevated James’ back, trying to see if he could get him to wake up first before they decided to do anything rash. He swallowed tightly; looking back up at the door and watching it bounce back and forth slightly because of the heavy winds. It was starting to sprinkle rain outside and it was freezing, which totally made him unwilling to take James to a doctor, but he knew they’d need to if he didn’t wake up soon. If he did then they could wait a bit if things weren’t so bad, but he needed to be awake to tell them. “Y-yeah… it was… dude…” He said panicked, looking at him with a freaked out expression.
He nodded hesitantly before adding, “First… let’s just see how he is, okay? If he doesn’t wake up in like, two minutes, we’ll take him; he could’ve just fainted for the moment.” He said, sounding intelligent for once, which was needed, because this wasn’t a time for him to be his normal dumb self. His eyes darted down when he saw James move a little bit, and without hesitation he shook him more, gently of course, until his eyes opened. This took a good two or three minutes for him to regain complete consciousness, but even when his eyes were open it took him a couple of more minutes to respond to the questions benny was throwing at him like a machine gun. James? James? Talk to me. Are you okay? and then he finally spurted out, “I’m okay.” After about three games worth of twenty questions. He tried to sit up on his own but fell back into Benny’s arms, which supported him almost entirely.
Confused as can be, James looked between Benny and Jayden, not sure what just happened but moaning quietly at the pain that ached throughout his body. Bits and pieces of memory of what had just happened returned to him, and he cursed mentally at himself when he realized that Jayden and benny must’ve seen his dad beating him up, because they both looked totally freaked out, angry, and panicked. He swallowed tightly, hoping not to have to answer questions yet, because he wouldn’t know what to say. He actually had a pretty good idea though; the truth. He was just too scared to tell anyone, too scared his dad would find out and try to do something worse than he’s ever done. Benny didn’t question him about that at first, but he put his hand on the top of his head gently, where his hair was. “Where does it hurt?” He asked, staying close so he could hear him, looking legitimately concerned. Benny looked over and Jayden and held James up more, motioning for Jayden to also help hold him up on the other side, to make him more comfortable. “Everywhere…” He said quietly, looking over at Jayden and then Benny, “He hit my ribs too much… and my chest…” He added, trying to give them more to work with. Benny carefully slipped James’ shirt off to reveal the brand new bruises and bleeding, tossing it to the side and handing him more over to Jayden, leaving them alone for a second as he jogged into the bathroom to get the first aid kit and then the kitchen for ice.
